Welcome to Nelson Pottery -  works in Raku by Julie Nelson

I'm a potter living in Kiln, Mississippi.  My specialty is raku and, as of late, raku tiles and wall hangings.

I first put my hands on clay in 1998. It was a hobby then. It soon started to consume my thoughts and my time! Since my retirement from nursing in April of 2010 I have been able to pursue my dream of making a living as an artist.
