Fish Wall-Hangings

My fish wall hangings are individually drawn on a clay slab. Texture and details are added and they are given their shape while still wet. When my clay is leather hard, my backing is attached.  They are dried slowly over several days to prevent cracking prior to the bisque firing. After the bisque firing they are treated like all of my other pieces: sanded, cleaned, glazed and the Raku process begins!
